I posted this on the Mania board, but I figured I'll cross post it to boost morale:
Kevin will direct Matt and Ben in a stage version of CLERKS. Ben wants to do something on the stage, and apparently something with Matt. I know they wouldn't do something as trite as WAITING FOR GODOT, and them doing CLERKS would be right up their alley. Also, it seemed odd that Miramax suddenly came down on that recent stage version of CLERKS when at least one other have been performed in the past. Maybe it's because Kevin was clearing up the rights to do one of his own? The only hole in this bucket is that I'm sure Kevin would probably ask Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson to recreate their roles before having Ben and Matt sign on. Though it wouldn't be implausible for it to open with Ben and Matt and then have Brian and Jeff take over once it's gained some credibility.
