Really good movie. They kept going from the actor playing Harvey Pekar, to the real Harvey, which is cool. The story is not really exciting but is very engaging. I was facsinated to see an actor play Crumb. He really hit the nail on the head. And that NERD guy was pretty cool. Kinda makes you want to know a guy like that in real life. Hope Davies, who plays Harvey's wife in the movie got an Oscar Nomination, but I'm not sure why. If anything, It should have gone to Paul Giamatti. He rips out of his Character Actor status and becomes a leading man. I really want to read his comics now. Anybody catch the simalarites between this and MAN ON THE MOON. Giamatti's in both, so is Dave Letterman, they both go through cancer and are both trying to do things that have never been done before. Also that it's a biopic and many people play themselves. If you haven't seen this yet, give it a watch. It's sort of morbid to see such talented people like Pekar and Crumb lead such hum drum lives.
