It's obviously a tragedy to those that remain, certainly when someone is taken at a young age, mostly because nobody DOES know what happens when you pass on. If we knew, grieving would be an entirely different process.
The thing is, I believe that everyone is given a certain amount of time to live life to the fullest....some just get a much shorter period of time than others. Does it suck for the people that are left behind (the family, friends, etc.)? Of course. Does it suck for the person who passed? How do they know? They aren't living anymore.
The fact is, I'm fully aware that I could get run over by a bus tomorrow, but I'm fine with that. I did what I could in the time that I was given.
