Honestly, I think that's far too broad of a generalization to make so, no.

People feel the need to project some sort of physical and/or psychological image in order to best understand with whom they're conversing. It's understandable, if perhaps slightly unfair.

Umm...no and no.

: 8) Are people on the internet really your friends or are they words on a screen? Did you make them what you wanted them to be?

The ones who exist solely on the net are acquaintences at best. To put a friend label on them is slippery business, if you ax me.
