-Because they compare them to people that they actually know who may have similar viewpoints on certain issues, and allow that image to fill in the blanks of unknown aspects of the internet person.

-Nope.

-I have just started realizing that they are actual people.

-I don't tend to notice when people are here and when they aren't for the most part.
