theres back to the future for one, that is pretty much the same, time machine, a movie no ones ever seen called "bug", among others

: Going into this movie with MUCH apprehention, I wasn't sure I'd make it through the entire movie alive, let alone awake. Honestly, I'm anti-Ashton...just for a while though. He's been in my face way too much and it's getting to me, but that aside here is an unbiased review of BUTTERFLY.
: The premise is interesting, what if you can go back in time to correct something, how will it affect the future. This theory was put in effect in the Simpsons when Homer went back in time, and it didn't work out for him either. The dialogue is not only flat; it's dull and sophomoric. There were times when a scene should have been serious and had the potential to give a powerful statement and it just fizzled. Some of the best deliveries were given by the 8-year-old Evan (Logan Lerman) aside from some out of place profanity the kid does real well with what he was given. Thumper (Ethan Suplee) is the Man! He's the good guy you wish had a more pivetal role. Kutcher does a decent job of carrying a movie. He plays the serious well, and the funny great.
: If you pay attention, you will see early on what the "effects" are, don't look too much into it and enjoy the surprises.
: The cinematography isn't too special. A handful of interesting shots and neat special effects keep your attention focused. The movie was better than I expected, way better... but it isn't a BIG FISH. Go see this movie with an open mind and try not to picture Michael Kelso when Kutcher does that head shaking, "what's going on" schtick.

: Acting B-
: Money's worth to see it in theater B
