Actually, this is a good point, of all the things to change, he seems the least changed (at least publicly).

More like, people were, briefly, able to put aside their own political beliefs (which is to say, all the things that he claims are "partisan", which means "if you disagree with what i want to do, you're being partisan", regardless of what your political beliefs are or why you're objecting to anything) and say, "I really want Bush to be doing a good job right now," but then, gradually, more and more reasons came out why he wasn't.
I mean, for starters, the guy ordered a government agency to lie about a week after that and say that the air was absolutely fine in lower Manhattan. Not only does that show what an awful person he is, but it also makes me highly skeptical of the government agencies who are reporting how the economy is just starting to turn around ... hmmm, just in time for the election, wow, what a *shocking* coincidence.

I believe that the argument goes [I should preface this by saying I don't agree much with this] that Israel's actions towards Palestine are borderline terrorist in nature. Also that supporting Israel but not Palestine (as we do) creates the image in that part of the world that we are pro-Israel and anti-Muslim (something Bush doesn't help when he goes to war with Iraq because we were attacked by Saudi Arabians).
