1) Would we have preferred Hussein to remain in control of Iraq?
2) What about Taliban controlling Afghanistan?
It was politically devastating if Bush didn't have some sort of tangible results to show the public. Some people complained more wasn't done to prevent 9/11, now should we complain when premptive steps are taken? Is two more minutes in an airport security line that much of an inconvenience?
Reasons given for going into Iraq and defying the UN weren't the best choices. Most of those assertions were proven wrong.
