He walks around with a knife. The only reason he ever managed to kill anyone is because they ran the wrong way. I never even managed to make it all the way through a Jason flick; I got bored. There's no challenge to it. Y'know how sometimes, when you're watching a horror movie, it becomes like watching a pantomime? "He's behind you!! No, don't run UP the stairs, you fucking moron! There's no way OUT, if you go up!" With Jason movies, there's just no point; even if the people on the screen could hear you, they'd be too stupid to listen.
At least Freddy's ways of killing people have a tendency to be inventive. OK, yeah, some of his jokes are cheesy, but at least he's smart enough to MAKE jokes. And the whole dream aspect of it is unassailably cool. Jason just walks around and knifes people. Where's the fun in that?
Sorry, I just don't get it.
I haven't even seen Freddy vs. Jason yet, this is just my opinion based on having seen other films in both series.
