I know you've said that the most important job of the director is to provide a comfortable working environment, but I still have a question about it. What do you do when it's crunch time? I had a scene today that I had 10 minutes to shoot, and my actress was stressing over some of her lines. I just had to say, "Listen, we only have ten minutes here. We need this shot, THEN we go home." I don't know if I handled it the best way...but I felt the pressure, and reacted naturally. Was there a better choice?
