Eh... I stayed at the Stratosphere not too long ago... got the room mostly because it was dirt cheap.
Room was decent enough (though nothing special), but the walls in that place are PAPER thin. All night long I could hear that fucking roller coaster whipping around (and I was only on like the 10th floor), and then when people got into the room next door to us it was as if they were in bed with us... I could hear every word they said, every step they took, every bowel movement they made.
Pure hell. I'd never stay there again. Drop the $ and stay at Mandalay Bay. Nicest hotel on the strip, IMHO.
