Mostly the Alien franchise. I mean Ridley Scott, James Cameron, David Fincher, Jean Pierre Jeunet. They are all fucking brilliant. Predator 1 was more than just a slasher movie. It had it's share of smarts. Freddy and Jason are just empty sacks of indulgence. So you'd think that this would have to be better. It could. But the director Paul Anderson isn't exactly Scott, Cameron, Jeunet, or even Fincher. He's the man responsible for "Soldier" and "Resident Evil". Here's hoping it's good. Prolly won't make F vs. J money though
