Bob Keeshan and Fred Rogers had distinct ideas about the reality
they presented. Fred kept strict separation of real and make-believe,
while Capt. Kangaroo existed alongside his creatures. Once
Keeshan was visiting Rogers' television house. Fred said, "Let's go
to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe now, and bunnyrabbit could be
there." To which Keeshan replied, "Oh, good, and can bunnyrabbit
come too?"
