My opinion:
Caruso - Awful. Constantly overacts. Only has one emotion.
Emily Proctor (Blonde Ballistics) - Doesnt fit the role. Not at all believable.
Adam Rodriguez (Erik) - The latin guy. Like the character, and like the acting. Realistic native Miami role.
Rory Cohrane (Speed) - Best character. Not latin, nor is his character, as you alluded to, but still the most intriquing character. The only role that compares to the original CSI crew.
Khandi (African-American ME) - Dont like it. Still see her as a Newsradio cast member. Also, her and Emily make the least believable duo found on primetime.
Sofia Milos (latin female detective) - Remains a mystery. Time will tell whether her character adds or detracts from the show.
Overall, I watch it because I enjoy the type of show, but this one is poorly executed, specifically when compared to Vegas CSI (which I love).

: So I still find it watchable because of the figuring out a particular puzzle (some crime scene) but in general I can't really stand the acting.
