I think the new age, self-help stuff has merit, they just usually take it way too far.
And I would never try to make YOU seem like a flakey pseudo-psychiatrist w/emotional problems, since I am a recovering flakey pseudo-psychiatrist w/emotional problems, myself. That's not how you come across at all.
