You make it sounds as if the Leafs actually have some sort of a chance or something.... =)

In all seriousness, the NHL has been hit with a unusual rash of injuries as of late, which I would attribute to the late slumps of most of the major teams. NJ's lost Langenbrunner and Stevens, Philly's lost a few, so on, so forth. The Devils haven't been able to overtake the Cryers, as the Devils get about two points out, and the Flyers win just enough to keep ahead. It's not as if they Leafs are gonna lose their division, but with the latest trend of "power" teams slumping and not really gaining much ground, the lower teams seem to be taking it a bit more seriously.

Hell, I think it's better anyway, I'd like to see some new teams in the playoffs, rather than the same fucking matchups, year after year (with the exception of the 1 or two dark horses that seem to claw their way to the top in recent years, like Carolina and The Mighty Duck Fucks).

I don't know what all that up there meant, but I guess I'm agreeing with you. I know the Devils are gonna make the playoffs, barring a gigantic collapse, but I wanna see them at least win the division.
