is looking shaky. I am, have been and will remain a Kerry supporter, the guy's earned my respect, not only for his dedicated efforts in the senate all these years, but for his creation of Vietnam Veterans Against The War, as a young 25 year old returning veteran. He could have sat back on his laurels back then, but the guy got involved and took on the US Senate Armed Forces Committee. His speech from back then is still incredibly stirring. He got attacked and vilefied then as now for speaking truth to power, but he gave a damn (unlike Dean, the draft dodger, who got a deferment for a bad back, and then was on the ski slopes a few days later), and still does. I've included a link to a photo of Kerry with John Lennon from a Vietnam war protest back in '71.
Kerry also is one of the founders of Earth Day, and has been an ardent environmentalist all these years.
