: But then they were butch sports students and not very nice either. You've seen Ozzy Osbourne? Cool. He's from Birmingham, where my bro studies history and social sciences.

But then, one was my brother's wife, so I'd be disturbed if I had been.
Yeah, I know - I just said that one of the lesbians is married to my brother. Technically speaking, she's bi, but... well, let's just say that if I didn't have a niece that's a year old, I'd wonder if she ever slept with men.

Yeah, Ozzy was one of the two coolest celeb encounters - I was standing on line for an ATM at the corner of 52nd and Broadway, and he walked out of the building the ATM was attached to and walked right past me. I turned to the lady behind me in line and said, "Holy shit, is that Ozzy Osbourne?" She looked, and said, "Holy shit, that IS Ozzy Osbourne!" At first, I thought about trying to get an autograph, but decided to just say, "Hi!" He smiled, nodded, and kept going.
The other coolest was Sting, who was doing a photo shoot less than a block away from my office, across from SIR Studios on 52nd St. I was walking back from lunch, and I see this photographer, and a guy holding a big light screen, and a guy leaning against a wall in this huge floppy hat, getting his pic taken. I didn't even recognize him until I was literally straight in front of him and could see under the hat, at which point my mouth dropped right the hell open. He was in the middle of a pose, but he smiled at me, winked, and gave me a little wave. :-)
