One thing I always thought was just so over looked in the Superman comics, movies, cartoons in the telling of his origin is the fact he's an alien. Once he tells everyone the whole Kal-El, planet explodes, suns rays, etc.
Everyone just seems to forget. "Oh yeah, this means we are not alone in the universe."
Why is that?
