I'm not sure what to make of it either since I'm 10 hours away and haven't heard any gossip. I'm torn between the impressions that Schifino's ego started to unnecessarily inflate and Beilein decided to be a major hardass.
Sucks for the team, though, Drew was nearly a quarter of the offense and we don't have anyone to really to step up and take his place. Hopefully Pittsnogle will learn to play again, get more comfortable as a forward, and we'd be able to keep both him and Fischer in the game. But losing to VT, that sucks.
As for becoming Hurricane scum, sometimes you gotta take the losses to continue your education. It's too bad we won't be playing Miami anymore, WVU would have one more rowdy fan in the Orange Bowl.
And I'm STILL pissed about the Gator Bowl. I spent hundreds of dollars to fly to Jacksonville to watch a Mountaineer team the Blundering Herd could clobber.
