...that was just... the most horrific rip on Kevin's work, just beat-by-beat, down to a Jay and Silent Bob pair except that the Jay was the Bob character's underaged girlfriend... but with a John-Hughes-on-life-support plotline about a guy who didn't know that his snooty girlfriend was cheating on him but... he'll find out!... and his tomboyishly gorgeous best friend will be there when he wises up. Lord... anyway.
There was a sequence in a comic shop, filmed in one of my hometown comic shops no less, where two workers were talking all saucy about the Superfriends and how if they were Aquaman, they'd have the girl Wondertwin turn into a mermaid and then use their telepathic powers on them.
I didn't even bring the DVD out here with me because it's such a low-rent homedone pressing that it doesn't work on DVD players more than a year or two old and I have a pretty old school DVD player.
It was... amazingly beautiful in its cluelessness to its own nature.
It was like Ed Wood had a DV cam. I need a newer DVD player.
