"Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny" is currently scheduled for release in 2005, so you've got a wait ahead of you. It is assumed that a new album will be released concurrently with the film. But that doesn't mean the D is dead, dude. For example, they recently did a show at their old haunt, the Largo, and rocked the house down. I wasn't there, being on the east coast, but I've heard tell it was fucking fantastic. In the meantime, there's Trainwreck, plus it seems like Jack's in every other movie that comes out these days. Keep an eye on the official site, and especially the message board. If anything new and different happens, it'll show up there. It's kinda like this board, in that it's nominally about the artist it's supposed to be about; we do occasionally talk about the D, and the members thereof. There's alot of random bullshit, too, though - just like here. Unlike here, however, it's really a pretty small community. And the D doesn't post there. At all. But Kyle's mom does....
