Good morning to you too.
This observation I'm about to make, you will of course take or leave, it just being a
thought.
It is very difficult to read black type on a charcoal background. Take, as an example,
Batman's thoughts in black type on a charcoal background in issue three of The
Dark Knight. It hurts the eyes, strains them .
Notice , if you will, how the orange small type "pops" out at the bottom of each entry
on your site.
I know that subtlety is sexy but in print and type there has to be a certain limit. To
dress in black on black is cool. To read it is impossible, or at the very least, difficult.

I would urge you to drop the value of the charcoal to a lighter shade of pale, just two
values...only if to enhance the readability of the site.
