: 1. I have just got back from home. When I was at home, I could listen to the game with my brothers. I have only sporadic computer updates and I need to show my support.

No problems with this. Any sport brings forth these feelings.

: 2. Pele called football "the beautiful game"

Was Pele high? It's fun to play, no doubt, but to watch it?

It's like playing Pong except you've not even playing Pong.

You're watching two other fellas play Pong.

Back... forth... back... forth... back... forth... back... forth... back... forth... back... IS SOMETHING ABOUT TO HAPPEN?... nope... back... forth... back... forth...

: 3. Norwich City are 2 points clear at the top of Division 1. A win today takes us five points clear. There are 18 games left after this. If we stay top of the table come May, we get to Premiership football and an extra £20m

I have no idea what most of this means.

I never understood this whole European "there's really no such thing as major or minor league teams, every year they join a different tier of competition depending on how they did the year before" thing. It hurts my brain.

Would it be so hard to just have... like... the London Toothdecay, the Berlin Racists, the Barcelona Sensible Public Transportation, the Rome Assgrabbers, etc in a 16-team league every year, the four best teams have a playoff and there's your champ?

: 4. As I wrote this Rotheram just equalised. I am now hacked off.

Tied. They tied it up and now you're angry.

Mike
