If he wasn't there on time, technically, by the extreme letter of the law, he could face more charges, etc...
They let it slide, but if they really wanted to nail him, they could have. Maybe their case isn't air tight enough...
I dunno...
Personally...I don't think he's a guy who falls into the normal or average catagory....and I know all the jokes and rumours...but I'll reserve judgement while I wait to hear fact from hearsay...see what the trial brings, and make an educated guess later rather than an assumption now...
