Convenience. For the sake of collecting all of them. Commentary. That's pretty much it.
I admit it's silly, and that's why I never got into the Simpsons sets, but I can watch ten episodes of Seinfeld a day and not get bored, so may as well make it possible to watch them the two hours a day that they're not on.
Plus I enjoy making Jerry Seinfeld richer and myself poorer (har har)
