I shoot everything I do on digital, and save literally thousands....I have a Panasonic AGDVX100 which shoots in 24 p....it isn't a perfect film image, however, it is pretty damn close...you can get a VERY high quality looking image if you shoot with that camera...It cost me 4 grand (still paying it off), but think of it this way....if you're doing a feature, that 4 grand would account for not a whole lot of 400 foot loads of film with initial costs, and then processing and developing....
Seriously, lookin into the DVX100....it's definatley worth it, I think at least...specially for poor college students, like myself
