Meet Ben's New 'Jersey Girl'!

December 23, 2003

Daredevil BEN AFFLECK has traded in his action gear for a sweet, new romance. Watch tonight's ET for an exclusive look at gentle Ben with LIV TYLER in KEVIN SMITH's new drama, 'Jersey Girl.'

Opening March 19, 2004, the film casts Affleck as a hotshot N.Y. music publicist, Ollie Trinke, who has everything he ever wanted -- a gorgeous wife (played by real life fiancé JENNIFR LOPEZ) and a baby on the way.

But Ollie's world is turned completely upside down when he is suddenly left a single father, jobless, and back living with his own dad (GEORGE CARLIN) in a New Jersey suburb.

His challenge? To overcome who he was, accept who he is, and be brave enough to open his heart to a gorgeous friend he meets (played by Tyler).

Written and directed by Ben's longtime friend Kevin Smith ('Dogma,' 'Chasing Amy'), the film also stars RAQUEL CASTRO (Ben's daughter in the film) and JASON BIGGS.
