: 1. LUST - You can spend the night in front of the fireplace with some eggnog (or alcohol) and one person - who is it?
Melanie. And that's exactly what we'll be doing.
: 2. PRIDE - What do you consider to be the "best gift" you've ever given someone at Christmas? (and virginity doesnt count)
I'd probably have to say an engagement ring... and what a fucking mistake THAT turned out to be.
: 3. GLUTTONY - Does your family have any holiday ritual of foods consumed on Christmas Eve or Christmas day?
No, not really. I always go to my aunt's on Christmas eve and my grandparents' on Christmas day. But it's just the usual food stuff at both places.
: 4. ANGER - Whats the shittiest thing thats ever happened on a Christmas which ALMOST or SUCCEEDED IN destroying your Christmas spirit?
Nothing I can think of. It would take a lot for my Christmas spirit to be destroyed, and I'm pretty sure nothing has ever even come close.
: 5. ENVY - Did someone you know get a gift for Christmas that honestly made you jealous? What was it?
Only once... I was SO totally jealous that my childhood friend Joe got an Atari 2600 and I didn't. But then I just got to go to his house every day and play it, so it was almost like I had one anyway.
: 6. SLOTH - How long ago were you dont with your Christmas shopping, or have you even started? Is this the normal pattern you follow?
I always start in November, because I normally use my birthday gift money to help get started on Christmas gifts. There've been a few times where I do a Wal-Mart run at 3am on the Saturday before Christmas to get some of the little stupid things - stocking stuffers, cards I may have missed, etcetera. But for the most part, I'm done in the first week or so of December.
: 7. GREED - How important are the material possessions to all that is Christmas? Saints aside - we all like gifts... be semi-honest.
Gifts are important, no doubt. I'm just as greedy as anyone else when it comes to Christmas gifts. I would be totally disappointed by socks and underwear under the tree. However, I think that it all evens out in the end with the people you love. For example, I've heard through the grapevine that my girlfriend bought me Tony Dorsett's and Jason Taylor's high school football jerseys. If that's true, I'm going to owe BIG, because my gifts to her are nowhere near as extravagant. SO, her February birthday will have to constitute some sort of jewelry in severance.
: Oh, and buy me gifts:
Good poll. Any requests?
