I always thought they didn't feel physical pain (a la when the captain shoots the crew member after they cut the girl to see if it worked. ok, so I don't remember the names, shoot me.). The only misleading thing is at the end when Johnny Depp shoots his mutainous first mate and he's all "that didn't hurt" and then feels pain after he's been informed that the curse has been lifted. Hmm...a blunder perhaps?
But very cool the way Johnny Depp steals the coin so be can duel with the bad guy without dying.
: Okay, it is quite possible that I missed something or that I misunderstood, but the cursed pirates supposedly couldn't feel anything, right? Why could they feel pain whenever stabbed or burnt?
