It was always so overshadowed by The Sopranos, and I liked it so much more.
And I never thought of Wit. Emma Thompson really goes for the teary-eyed-ness throughout, however. I thought she was just a tad overly dramatic. I dunno, like she was trying a little to hard to pull off the tearjerker. But yeah, that was a good HBO film, now that you mention it.
Anyway, as far as Band of Brothers goes, I'm a WWII buff, so 10 hours of it is just awesome to me. It's not for everyone, but if you're even marginally into that kind of thing and have 10 hours to spare, a rental is definitely worth it.
