Although I do realize the majority of posters are pro-Kev, I get really disappointed at the folks who (though they are entitled to their opinion) are totally off base with their sell-out assessment of Kevin.
How many directors or actors who have maintained Kevin's level of success would make themselves regularly available to his fans? I will always relish the opportunity where I got the opportunity to tell Kevin to his face how much he and his work means to me. You could be a fan of any actor or director and NEVER ever be in the same room with them, let alone get a picture or autograph, or for god's sake a few minute conversation. People get successful and they usually forget the people who bought the tickets and t-shirts and told their friends how cool their movies are.
Marketing ploy, perhaps ... but at least Kevin will admit it honestly. But spend a couple minutes with him my friend and he sincerely cares about what we think.
I worry that people posting the deregatory crap I saw below will make Kevin want to post less frequently or at worst, not at all (as I understand why the Mrs. doesn't anymore).
Bottom line, I really enjoy the board and the connection Kevin has to us as fans and I hope it will continue for a long time.
