Actually it was in Woody Allen's 1973 futuristic movie, 'Sleeper, and both men and women used it. It looked like a large hot water heater, and both parties entered it when they wanted to have sex. They hit the button, and then had a big O without ever touching each other. Woody Allen's character was amazed by this, and managed to show Diane Keaton's character how it was done in the good old days, and a good time was had by all.
Actually there's a device that's a lot cheaper then the 13K mentioned in the article and less invasive too, it's called the Sybian. Anyone over 18 can do their own web homework on this, ride'em cowboy...lol.
