I was standing around basking in the glow of Bryan Johnson, but just before I got close enough to tell him how great I thought (DDDDDDDDDDDDD) was here comes Mewes.
In no time we were surrounded by every single Kevin Smith look alike in the building. I didn't want my buddy Ian to miss out so I go to grab him (he was drooling over Phil Noto) and he wasn't there, so I call him and tell him that Mewes just walked past and that I spotted Kevin (I think he ducked inside pretty quickly because he was gone before I got back... then again everyone looked like Kevin for a while so who knows if I was just imagining it).
Anyway, I had nothing for Mewes to sign, nor did I care about it since it's easy enough to get a View Askew autograph (not much of an autograph hound anyway) so I didn't mind that I had to regroup in the pack.
My buddy Ian showed up and we get up to Mewes and he's really accomodating, asking Ian if he should sign the paper instead of the AMray so that the ink doesn't wipe off and shit like that.
Then some girl asks about signing the following day and he's like, "Yeah, we'll be signing all day tomorrow."
She then asks what they'll be signing and without missing a beat Mewes looks at her and says, "Titties."
It was priceless.
