Randal or I that's not the case at all. We've asked Tom quite a few times to tone it down a bit. We've asked him to stop being such an asshole. This went on for two weeks before anyone ever considered banning him. Anyone who wants to come in and carry on a polite (and sometimes not-so-polite BUT friendly) conversation is more than welcome. He makes it sound like we kick everyone who comes in the room which is of course not the case. Anyone who knows Tom on the baord should know why he's been banned.
