I really liked his two Batman films, they introduced me to the whole realm of crime fighting superheros. It was a dark movie and Bruce Wayne was a real person with real issues. The only problem with Burton is that he is very much a one trick horse. All of his films follow the same, almost sinister look and character. Not exactly common, unless you think Minority Report and Catch Me If You Can have the same feel.
