As far as I remember, they were working on a version of that death of Superman comic, which is about as dark as they come (I believe the villain was called Darkseid.)
And Johnny Depp will do whatever the hell he wants when he wants! Neverland, Once Upon A Time In Mexico and Pirates Of The Carribean have been released this year, plus he's rumoured to be working with Tim on Charlie And The Chocolate Factory (which pleases me much!)
