because it's still just some guy who's scrawled all over the cover. If it's fairly recent
though, it'll probably increase the value, depending on what it is. What is it you've
got?

It's Amazing Spider-man 298 , 1988, the beginning of the Venom run. Right when
McFarlane got back into the series.
