: : : I like all kinds of music...not a big fan of most rap or country, but I dig some of everything...okay, not the country...that I can't stand.

: : : I mostly enjoy what used to be referred to as "alternative" rock...but now is nameless because it's no longer alternative.

I went to jewish camp. Jewish camp is the Beastie Boys capital of the world. We played Licensed to Ill every Friday before Shabbas while we got ready.

The fans were split up into two groups; Upper West Side jews who had the best taste in Hip-Hop that I've encountered, and Jersey kids, who listened to the Beastie Boys, and nothing but. These Jersey kids, (who only listened to the Hip-Hop albums, Licensed to Ill, Paul's Boutique, Ill Communication, Hello Nasty, nothing else) refused to accept that the Beastie Boys were Hip-Hop. There's absolutely NO REASON other than their skin color to think this. They have a DJ named Mix Master Mike, and they all rap. It's HIP-HOP.

Run-DMC? It's the same producer. "No, I don't like rap".
