i've been that old timer at other places myself...places gone belly up and now missing from the fabric of the internet. and although i may have pined, in my heart of hearts, i never bemoaned the old at the expense of the new.
i'm not begrudging them their time of grieving, (mourn motherfuckers, mourn!) but i think unilaterally slamming the post-2K crowd is a bit overmuch, imho.
