Another giant wave of greatest hits compilations has the stores, including Counting Crows, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sheryl Crow, REM, etc.

Personally, I think that artists or bands that are still very active should wait on greatest hits albums. I think it comes off as an act of desperation to compete with sales declines.

Especially when they already HAVE a greatest hits album and haven't made many hits since (cough cough Micheal Jacokson cough).

Thoughts?
