I wont be able to make it.Which pisses me off cause I already missed the BIG FISH and LAST SAMURAI screening last week. Feeling a bit under the weather so won't be able to make the new screening. if you are interested and live in the LA area, heres the description. its playing at mann 4 in glendale. real nice theaters. i go to em all the time. its this thursday at 7:30, but you have to be there no later than 6:30. email me if you would like the number to get the passes:

Description: Will Ferrell (“Old School,” “Elf”) stars as Ron Burgundy, the top-rated anchorman in San Diego in the ‘70s. When feminism marches into the newsroom in the form of ambitious newswoman Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate - “The Sweetest Thing,” TV’s “Married With Children”), Ron is willing to play along at first—as long as Veronica stays in her place, covering cat fashion shows, cooking, and other “female” interests. But when Veronica refuses to settle for being eye candy and steps behind the news desk, it’s more than a battle between two perfectly coiffed anchor-persons…it’s war.

“Anchorman” also stars David Koechner (“A Guy Thing”), Steve Carell (“Bruce Almighty”) and Paul Rudd (“The Shape of Things,” “The Cider House Rules”) as members of Ron’s News Team; and Fred Willard (“American Wedding,” “A Mighty Wind”) and Chris Parnell (TV’s “Saturday Night Live”) as the news producers. Vince Vaughn (“Old School,” “Swingers”) plays Wes Mantooth, lead anchor for a competing news team and Burgundy’s arch-rival. Kevin Corrigan (TV’s “Grounded For Life,” “Slums of Beverly Hills”), renowned rap musician Chuck D (of Public Enemy), Tara Subkoff (“The Cell,” “American Pie”) and Maya Rudolph (TV’s “Saturday Night Live”) will be seen as members of the radical underground group The Alarm Clock, which becomes the big news story of the day.

MPAA rating: The movie has not yet been rated but is believed to be ‘PG-13.’ The studio cannot, of course, guarantee the rating that the film will ultimately receive
