I don't know them very well, but a lot of my friends love them. As for bad indie I nominate: Most of it.
I listen to the "New Indie" and "Indie rock mix" on Radio@Aol all day long. A good chunk of it is unlistenable. I wish I new some of the band names to back myself up, but I can't remember the really bad ones. I'll have to check back on this. Right now they're playing the Clash and Liz Phair so I look like a liar.
