: 1. Did you stay in or go out this weekend?

went out

: 2. How much alcohol did you drink this weekend? (rough estimate of number of drinks or amount, if you remember)

one liquer glass about 3/4 of the way full

: 3. What alcohol was it that you were drinking the most of (if you remember)?

Cointreau

: 4. What movies did you watch this weekend? List them and give them a rating of 1-10 for each (if you like).

Sirens of the 23rd Century - I give it a 9

: 5. What did you watch on TV this weekend?

Some short stop motion animation film on PBS that was about a wig maker in England in 1665 in a plague-ridden village. He was trying to figure out what exactly caused the plague.

And some documentary about "Munchausen syndrome by proxy" which is when a person creates illness in someone else, the proxy, in order to get attention. Usually, the mother will invent illnesses in their child and once the child gets into the medical system, the mother uses the open wounds and the drugs to keep the child infected, feverish and ill, necessitating repeat visits to the the emergency room and surgery.

The benefit for the parent is all the attention they get from taking care of a sick child, while the child continues to endure the medical torture.

And Carnivale

: 6. What did you listen to this weekend? (Musically that is)

I went to see a fashionista punk band called The Cold War at a bar. I also listened to some random mix of new-agey music at someone else's house.

: 7. Approximately how much sleep did you pull in over Friday and Saturday night?

probably 18 hours

: 8. How was your weekend in comparison to other weekends? (1-10 scale for this one too if you like)

If I add it all up and average it all out, I'd have to say it was a good weekend. No major injuries. No fatalities. Lots of quality time with the dog. There was also chocolate involved at several points.

You forgot to ask what we read.

It was actually a weird weekend. The theme for this weekend seemed to be torture and illness. For some reason everything I read and watched had to do with either of those two things. I myself am neither sick, or tortured. Although that's debatable.

I can almost hear Yoda saying, "Much suffering I see, yes."
