Let's analyze this failed attempt at a joke.
"5 minutes to"
Too short. Something like "Quarter past" or "Half hour after" would be a little better. Try to get away from actual numerals as much as possible in jokes. Numbers scare people.
"YOU ARE PATHETIC!"
Besides the redundant nature of capitalized letters AND a exclamation point, the phrase 'you are pathetic' just lacks comic ability.
Something like "you die alone" or "you lose your virginity" or even "you regaining your manhood."
And then finish it off with a simple period (.)
So, what do we got now?
"Quarter to you regaining your manhood."
"Half hour after you die alone."
"Half hour after you finally lose your virginity."
See, it's easy. Your problem is you don't think hard enough. Use that brain of yours and come up with something funny before you post it. And then read it over, see how it looks, and finalize it before you enter your post.
