: If you had the power, which deceased celebrity would you bring back to life and why?

Because his music was so wonderful, and he had so much more to say when he was so bizarrely killed by his father. What a tragic waste of everything.
He was a sensualist, a non-conformist, religious in a non traditional way, and such a deeply talented musician and singer that I still miss him,and I will always wonder what else he would've done with his music and his life.

In his 'Midnight Love'album, he finally had hit his stride, it is such a sensual and joyful album, and it talks about the divine too. All good things in my book. (In a way, he's a smooth version of Prince.) Just stop and really think of what he has to say in the song, 'Sexual Healing', it's not about just getting it on, it's about how deep intimacy can heal. For all of you smoothies out there, put his 'Til Tomorrow' on your favorite make out songs CD's, it's a guarateed mood enhancer. Slow dance to that one and Marvin will help you win the day. The rest of the album has it's great moments too, and of course his earlier works are wonderful also.

So yes, Marvin gets my vote, I still miss him so.
