~~~~~~ The Death penalty is NOT a deterrant and name ONE instance where someone who was serving on Death Row or Life Imprisonment snuck out with 99 of his pals to kill again. Better yet, alone to kill again. Killing people in the name of judicial order has never ever stopped the man at the 7-11 from pulling the trigger. Knowing that so many executions take place each year, has never ever stopped a man from strangling his wife. If it's not a detrrant, it's not an aplicable punishment and should not be enforced.
