I wish I could agree with Elfy totaly on execution itself - but I find I can't. I believe the state should have the right to demand a life for a life providing it can be proven beyond even a shadow of a doubt that the guilty person is in fact guilty. That's where my doubts originate - the dreaded 'what if...' - so, on balance, I'd rather murderers languish in jail than an innocent person lose their life - so that is why I am anti death penalty - I wish I could take your high moral stance, Angela, but I can't!

As to execution itself - there is no justification for any method other than the lethal injection.

Having said all that - fuck it, there are people still around who thoroughly deserve to have their lives terminated - if anyone feels inclined to argue about that, all I can say is that you haven't seen what I've seen in Iraq, Bosnia and a couple of other places....
