TCM remake sucked ass (no spoilers)

First of all, it wasn't even a damn remake. It was sequal. No movie can take such liberties with the characters and plot and still call this a remake.

Biggest problem with the film is that its old hat. If you have seen one mainstream hollywood horror movie, you have seen this. Nothing suprised me. Jump scene when there needed to be one, stinger when there needed to be one, dead character is actually alive when there needs to be one, etc. This movie had it all. Everything you would expect. I was yawning. Just bored the shit out of me. And the "new" characters were really bad. Just wait till you see R Lee Emery doing his FULL METAL JACKET shitck, but this time as a disgruntaled sherriff. BAAADDD.

I did like Selma Blair though. She can run and scream and looked scared with the best of em. Plus she has a kickin body.

One of my favorite parts of the movie was when Leatherface was chasing Blair and he turns the sprinklers on for no apparent reason. Would this help him catch her? Nope, not in the least, but we did get to see even more boobage as her tank top became soaked.

Hey thanks leatherface! We need you around more.
