The majority of people living in the Republic of Ireland are Catholic. But thats besides the point. "...the Protestants at Trinity..." what Protestants??? People don't go around like it's frickin WWII with something equivalent to a Jewish star on their chest. No group of people go around parading their religious beliefs. And if you're refering to the fellows of the college (as in technically the people that legally own the university) they're all old retired professors alot of whom aren't even Irish or British.
Sorry but I HAD to clear that up. No religious feuds when I stroll around campus and I'm Catholic along with (nearly) everyone I know.
